Description: Lecture, five hours. Enforced requisite: course 4A with grade of C or better or Chinese placement test. Second-year Chinese. Not open to students who have learned, from whatever source, enough Chinese to qualify for more advanced courses. Continuation of course 4A. P/NP or letter grading.
