I like this class a lot! It's definitely good when you have a strong-ish basis in general linguistic concepts, but even if you've forgotten things from LING 1 or 20, Prof. Moore-Cantwell is great at explaining complicated topics. I enjoyed the things we learned, and the homework was always very related to lecture, so as long as you're paying attention the class is nice to get through. In addition, there's a final paper where you do some phonological research of your own, but the teaching team is all there to help you and make sure you're on the right track so it's really quite interesting and simple. Would take again!
