Professor Clark was a super sweet person! Her classes were sometimes a little slow, but given that it's an introductory course it makes sense. The class grade consisted of 4 quizzes, lab activities (about half of the labs were group projects, all during class), two written lab reports, one midterm, and one final. It was a very nice class, and the professor would send out emails notifying you of when assignments were due and other announcements. I would recommend taking it with Professor Clark.

I love, love, love Professor Clark. She is simply a beautiful lady inside and out. She is such a sweet, kind, nice professor. Once a bird came into the class and she was so cute about it like "Aw there's a birdie here to join us and bring us joy." I love her class! I thought it would be hard to like because the lecture is 2 hours long, but the fact that she gives like a few minutes break throughout makes it easy to take a quick little break and recollect energy to focus again. The content is so interesting and she is so knowledgeable, and she never gives "nonsense" answers-- if she doesn't know, she'll write the question down to research it later.

Quizzes are super easy and open-note. final and midterm too, and the labs (which are basically part of lecture) are pretty fun for the most part. The Article Analyses were kind of boring but they help you understand parts of a research paper.

I love her! She is perfect. You MUST take her if you have the chance.

I am selling all of my lecture notes for this class for $15! hmu on ********** if you are interested!

I really enjoyed this class and would take again especially with this Professor. The guidelines and expectations for the class were set up clearly and the Professor made useful PowerPoints to follow along with. Her tests were fairly easy as long as you put in the work and study. The workload each week was manageable as long as you stay on top of it.

I took this class for my major (pre-psychology), so obviously I was already interested in the topics being discussed, which made this class a bit easier. I took this course while it was completely online, so we had Zoom meetings on Tuesday and Thursday. Tuesday was a lab period in which we worked in breakout rooms (with a randomly assigned lab group that we worked with for the whole quarter), and Thursday was an optional live Zoom to discuss the week's lesson. If you didn't attend Thursday, you just had to complete the lesson on your own. All the online lessons were due by the end of the quarter. It was helpful to stay on track and turn them in the week they were posted, which is how I did it, but every once in awhile I would get busy and turn it in a week later, which was still okay. I feel like this class was pretty hands-off in the sense that I hardly interacted with the professor, and the due dates for assignments were pretty lenient, so it was essentially an asynchronous format, aside from the lab group meetings. There were labs and either a quiz or reading response due each week, so there was a decent amount of work to do, but it was more than manageable. The midterm and final were both online as well, with a combination of multiple choice and short answer responses. The midterm was pretty straightforward, but I found some of the final multiple choice questions to be a bit difficult. They were open note, and even then I could not find some of the information in my notes (which were EXTENSIVE). So I am not sure how the exams would translate to in-person learning.

Professor Clark is very passionate about her job. Her lectures weren't mandatory and she records her lectures. Howevery, the content on her midterm and final didn't exactly line up to what was taught. I took all the notes and did all of the practice quizes, yet I found myself to be at a complete loss w/ some of the questions. Other than that she's a pretty good professor. Weekly labs to do w/ your group and a quiz here and there.

This class was simple! I enjoyed it with her, the lectures were easy to follow on CCLE, and I was really engaged. The only reason I found the final difficult was because I didn't pay too much attention to the examples she always mentioned throughout her lectures (which was a big portion of the tests), and I was too lazy to go back through all the lectures. As long as you take good notes and do your work, you will get an A in her class. I only got an A- because I slacked at the end, I got 85% on both the midterm and final :p I got 100 on everything else besides the quizzes (85% lol). This class shouldn't be stressful! Highly recommend her as a professor.

I took this class online using with the same format she used during COVID so it might be different and harder if taken in person. I loved the class and Professor Clark. She is so sweet and always happy. She held optional lectures you could attend or just do the lessons on your own. She also had group labs where it would be necessary some weeks but not most so it's not too bad and they were really easy. All quizzes, the midterm, and final were open note since it was online so it made it easier but definitely still study because it's not possible to use your notes since the tests are times. She has an awesome study tool that allows to practice questions that will be similar to those on the test. Overall I loved Professor Clark and wish I could have met her in person. She definitely made the online format doable and cared about her students.

Incredible professor and staff. A lot has already been said about professor Clark, so I'm just going to parrot all of it. This class was very enjoyable in flow, and overall workload. Lectures and modules were very engaging and interesting. Maybe it's because I took this class as a junior, but the tests and assignments were all very easy if you even watched her lecture once. Overall, highly recommend taking this class with her and considering other classes with her too- you can tell Professor Clark cares about her students understanding and promoting a passion for psych.

Professor Clark and her TA were so kind, helpful, compassionate, and understanding. They were flexible and accommodating with deadlines, submission issues, and clarification of assignments. The grading was relatively lenient and she dropped the lowest grade of most categories (quizzes, assignments, lectures, article analysis, etc.)

There was quite a bit of material to be read and understood but it was all reasonable. On the tests, you are given a test bank to practice with in advance. The group work is also manageable and you are given time in class to complete it with your groupmates.

Overall, I thought this was a very reasonable and enjoyable class. Professor Clark did an excellent job caring for her students and being kind during a difficult pandemic and online learning environment.
