Jen is an awesome teacher, which this school seems to lack. She genuinely cares about her students and what they are learning, and doesn't waste time with anything useless or boring. She actually made research easy and kind of interesting!

Jen is such a great professor, I loved her teaching style, if you want to find out, take one of her classes, you wont regret it. The work isnt too bad either because she makes it so interesting, she also creates great discussions.

Absolutely one of the best instructors at UCLA. Very concerned with her students, and always willing and able to give constructive criticism when and where needed. Outstanding professor.

The BEST instructor I have ever had. She prefers a hands on learning fashion and is very understanding. She is the nicest instructor I have ever had. I am sad that she has left and hope she comes back sometime because we need more instructors like her.

it's a little to late to post this up now, spring 07 is her last quarter teaching here. she got a full time position at fullerton for AAS. but i heard she might come back as a guest speaker if they asked her to.

well, prof yee (or jen, like she prefers) is the best professor i've ever taken here at ucla. with such big classes and academia-based school, professors dont usual pay attention or care about their students too much. she goes out of her way to remember all our names and helps people speak out without pushing them. her classroom is always a fair enviroment without any hostiliy when there are hot topics being discussed.

she creates the class in that way, by being open and unbiased. if you ever have the chance to take her, consider yourself LUCKY. jen is inspiring and will make your aas/educ experience better. you will learn much about yourself and whatever you are learning. :)
