To the person below me, I got an A in the class and did all the work too. But for me to say she is the best professor on campus would be completely ridiculous. Her TA taught me 10X more than she did which is ridiculous in itself. Everyone who says she was disorganized is right. You can't say she was "a little" disorganized... because she was the most disorganized professor I've ever taken at this campus! It seemed like she did teach the class differently... because she didn't really teach us much AT ALL.

She's a sweet sweet woman (bought us all pizza for the presentations)... but sweet just doesn't cut it. We pay tuition to learn a little something.

She's nice but not a very effective professor at all. Her instructions are too vague, her explanations are vague and one of the TAs was not effective either. Absolutely unbelievable how forgetful and/or unorganized she can be sometimes.. Didn't even get the final assignments until the end of the quarter. Seriously, everything is just so vague. You have to figure out virtually everything out by yourself and just hope that whatever you're doing is right.
My advice: Do NOT take her classes

She's ridiculous. Disorganized.. and it's a class on ORGANIZATIONS! She never responds to emails... but the one time she DID response, was AFTER I turned in my assignment to her. I originally emailed her with some concerns about a topic I had... she never responded.. so I did the abstract anyway and turned it in. Then a week later, she responds to my email and askes if they got an abstract from me yet. I HOPED SO because I TURNED it in! The class never understands what she's saying in lecture and she never tells us what she wants for the assignments. She makes it so general... then she complains that our papers aren't good enough. Then we ask her what she wants.. and her response it always.. I don't care. She also has the audacity to tell us that she has other classes to worry about so we shouldn't expect her to be able to answer all of our questions. This may be true, but 1) we are students with other classes to worry about also. 2) if you told us what you wanted THE FIRST TIME, then maybe we wouldn't have so many questions. 3) She's the professor, what does she expect? Don't decided to teach a class if you can't even handle the work yourself.

Don't EVER take that class with her. It's really ridiculous and a big waste of time.

the class...SUCKS! If you can't handle the bare walls of Public Policy Building and can't stand the NANO talk for 2.5 hours, DON'T take this class! I totally regreted buying those two stupid books! She IS a nice person and she bought pizzas for our midterms and final, but you have to be a total science nut to convince her that you are just as crazy about science as her. I didn't like her grading policy and that she never had a clear update on the grading breakdown. I did so much work for this once a week course, and ended up with a B+( which I don't even know why since I got an A+ on my midterm). Make sure you evaluate what you want out of this class before you register: if you desperately want a B to boot up your GPA, then you can take it. But if you don't want a 5-unit class that you thought you could ace but ended up with a B+ and brought down your GPA (like me), then DON'T take it. By the way, her TA was useless--don't even understand why she has a TA.

class was boring, she was not organized, she never e-mailed back on time and it just seemed like the whole quarter i didn't learn anything! it was a waste of time. The T.A. did a better job teaching during section than she did during class... AND!!! she still has not turned in the grades! we turned in the final even before finals week. she is horrible

completely unorganized and boring. i learned nothing and there is no point to anything she said. she would take so long to respond to e-mails. i e-mailed her my prompt for my final and a week later, she e-mailed back she didn't like it. and this was after it was due! her lack of organization affects her students.

Professor Zucker was awesome. Sometimes it's a bit hard to follow her lectures, but, for a 5 unit honors class, it was definitely worth it. We had no midterm, just a case study, a group presentation, and a final paper (none of which was too hard). All you really need to do is just pay attention and you'll do fine! She's really easy to talk to on a one-on-one basis and will really try to help you through the whole course.

Note, you'll never really use the book.

And she DID buy us CPK twice during the quarter.

Course Taken: Soc 172, Entrepreneurship

I've been anticipating this class all year, I should have paid attention to all the negative reviews. I've been in the class one day and already it is a shitty class.

Prof Zucker has low self esteem and bad jokes show it because she is the only one who laughs at them.

She goes off on IRRELEVANT TANGENTS about her personal life and I just don't care about that. I'm paying money to learn about entrepreneurship.

Poorly organized. She begins the class talking about things as if we already know what she wants us to do... "Oh look at the tables on this website they will really help you out" why should I go there if I don't know what I'm supposed to be working toward???

Class is extremely boring, but she also doesn't take attendance. There's a group project, but its literally divided up among the members so you don't really have to work together. It's a take home midterm and the final is a 5-7 page paper, and both are allowed to be in outline format. The class is extremely boring and extremely science focused because that's her field of expertise. At the same time, I showed up to class and was on my computer the entire time and did everything the night before it was due and got an A so the class is easy

you people are crazy..She was by far the best professor her on campus. Sorry you actually had to work a little to get a good grade. Half you lazyasses didn't even put an effort to come to class and you say she was hard or boring. Yes she was a little unorganized but she cared alot about her students, and she said in the beginning of the quarter that she was going to teach this class differently and not go by the beauractic crap that we go through in all our other classes, in this class you really learned how to organize even though she wasn't. She allowed you to go on a different level of thinking by letting you do as you wished on assignments. Trust me take her put in some effort youll get an A and if you really want to learn a lot.
