Do not live here. Leo, the landlord, is incredibly rude, and the quality of the apartments is not worth its cost. Save yourself the trouble, and find somewhere else to live. You will not like it here.

Looking for a total of three female subletters for 424 Veteran this summer from beginning of July to middle of September. Comes with two parking spots, all appliances, and water is included. Has hardwood floor, will be professionally cleaned/painted by the time you move in, has a balcony, AC, and is very close to campus.
We are asking $670 a month per person but are willing to negotiate.
It's spacious and a really nice apartment! Please message me if interested! (661)437-5127

This apartment complex is alright. We had cockroach problems when we first moved in, and the apartment seemed very dirty.

The manager seems nice (key word, seems). She doesn't understand how to calculate money, and when she tries to explain herself, she comes off as completely rude and will make unprofessional comments. As a building manager, I would think that she'd learn how to negotiate and solve problems in a respectable fashion. Instead, she just yells at you and expects you to do what she says, when she fails to adequately explain what's going on. My roommates and I have all gotten in arguments with her over money. If it that's hard for you, then consider taking an algebra class. Goodness gracious.

Also, you will not get much of your deposit back if you live here for two years or less. Apparently, they charge for cleaning and painting and fixing the floor. That takes out about 420/500 deposit.

I live in a two bedroom two bath apartment. 2011-2012.

Pros:
-Cres (Manager) IS AMAZING. She is SO nice and very organized.
-Our fridge was broken and she had it fixed within 48 hrs of complaining.
--It would later be replaced since it could not be kept cold.
-Washing Machine was broken and she had it replaced within 48 hrs.
-Apartment is kept clean, maintenance comes by twice a week and is also on call in case of emergencies.
-Rooftop overlooks North of Wilshire.
-Views of Los Angeles and Getty Center.
-Neighbors are chill, just mind your own business and no problems.
-Rooms are spacious with a lot of closet space.
-Pool and Jacuzzi on the roof top.
-Lounging chairs on the roof top.
-Couches in the Lobby.
-Close by to campus. 15 minute walk.
-When packages arrive, Cres places a note on your address box along with a note on your door if it hasn't been picked up.

Cons
-Cres requests that you do not hold large parties in the apartment complex or roof top. In all honesty, that's not too bad since there are a lot of perks to living at the Westwood Concord. If you are caught throwing a rager then you can be dismissed from the apartment.
-Apartment is slightly old.

Amazing management - apartment is well-kept and clean, repairs are timely. Very quiet except for street noise.

The landlord is the best landlord around. She gets to know you, is accommodating, and will make sure any problems that you have is taken care of within that day or week. If you want to throw parties, it depends who lives around you; we luckily have chill neighbors, but we used to have a stickler below us who called the cops. The complex is clean and there is a pool and jacuzzi upstairs.

As for distance to school - it really isn't that bad. It's better than walking to Rieber or Hedrick; however, it is a bit far to go to brewco or maloneys (if you're drunk, which you should be, it shouldn't matter then!). Besides that - awesome apartment complex all around.
