This place will be a good apt if you don't care about your security deposit. The thing is that the managers or whoever are trying to take as much as they can from your deposit even though even thing is fine. It is reasonable if they charge me 200 bucks for cleaning. In fact they are gonna charge you more than 500 bucks for whatever reasons they could come up with. And the managers never fixed anything in our apt. Literally never!!!
Awesome place! WAAAY cleaner and safer than most apartments North of Wilshire.
Parties are allowed if you put down a safety deposit. Very chill staff, and social environment.
Individual leases are helpful so you are not responsible for finding your own roommates.
Very close to campus dorms.
Overall GREAT experience living here! :)
This place is SHADY!! If you DIDN'T PUT DOWN A SECURITY DEPOSIT, which is basically everyone, they will charge you FOR EVERYTHING when you leave! Read your contracts thoroughly, boys and girls because there is no way of even suing them for the money they will get you for! This place is shady; I went to a lawyer and the entire company is contracted out through other groups. I.E.: ***EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO KNOW***: THERE IS NO NAME UNDER THIS BUSINESS that is held responsible.
The company they use to "clean your apts" when you leave, is NOT LEGIT. We called them to dispute our claims and they kept telling us to contact management, while management was doing the same. NO ONE ADMITS RESPONSIBILITY.
Other than our apt being charged over $2k when we left, the place was fun. If you're okay with $2k of charges for "fun," this is the place for you.
I definitely had a good time here, our parties were massive (200-300 people). The landlord, Yolanda, is a really chill person, she does have her limits though. Overall I would recommend this place only if you have $$$, roommates you have patience for and who are clean, and if you want to live in a party environment. As I said, I definitely had a good time here, but one year is definitely enough for me.
