Description: Seminar, one hour. Consideration of diverse network of artists and artistic practices in post-war Los Angeles. By focusing on art exhibitions that marked significant moments in city's history, examination of role that galleries, museums, curators, scholars, publications, and collectors play in establishing art historical canon.
