Biological Chemistry

Description: Lecture, five hours. Preparation: organic chemistry. Open to nonmedical students with consent of instructor. Primarily for first-year medical students and runs throughout School of Medicine's second semester. General biochemistry with emphasis on mammalian systems. Structure, function, and metabolism of major cellular components. To receive credit, both courses must be taken together in same academic year. In Progress grading (credit to be given only on completion of course 201B).
