Description: Lecture, four hours; discussion, two hours; outside study, six hours. Requisites: courses C137, 141, 235A. Performance characterization of steel structures for static and earthquake loads. Behavior state analysis and building code provisions for special moment resisting, braced, and eccentric braced frames. Composite steel-concrete structures. Letter grading.
