Description: Lecture, four hours; outside study, eight hours. Requisites: courses 250A, 250C. Introduction to basic concepts of classical and Bayesian estimation theory for purposes of hydrologic data assimilation. Applications geared toward assimilating disparate observations into dynamic models of hydrologic systems. Letter grading.
