Description: Lecture, two hours; laboratory, eight hours. Enforced requisites: courses 30CL and 171, with grades of C- or better. Synthesis of inorganic compounds, including air-sensitive materials; Schlenck techniques; chromatographic and ion exchange methods; spectroscopic characterization and literature applications. Concurrently scheduled with course C274. P/NP or letter grading.
