Most Helpful Review
The readings for the course are very interesting and at times funny. Professor Gurval is very accessible and very concern for student learning. He will take the time to proofread your paper and provide much needed feedback. The lectures cover the various readings for that week, providing context and vital information that will be on the exams. The usage of power point and lecture notes is also a plus. The class is based on a short article report, midterm, final and a 12-page research paper. The best advice is to review the lecture notes and attend class, where he will summarize the main points for the readings. Professor Gurval does expect students to do the readings as well as providing detailed information on the exam questions with all the relevant information provided on the lecture notes. Final grade in the course: A
