Description: Lecture, four hours. Recommended requisite: course 60. Discussion on issues of difference, conflict, and community to facilitate understanding between social/cultural groups. Peer facilitator training course to develop understanding of theoretical and research foundations of intergroup dialogue, peer-facilitated discussions involving relationship building (and coalition building) through thoughtful engagement around different social identity issues. Study of variety of techniques, tools, and strategies to support students in their capacity to implement sustained dialogues with students from other social identity groups. Letter grading.
