Description: Lecture, two hours; discussion, two hours; field visits. Preparation: one nutrition sciences course and/or nutrition program experience. Nutrition programs and policies in U.S. and developing countries compared and contrasted. Analysis of role of major international, governmental, and nongovernmental agencies. Emphasis on meeting needs of vulnerable populations. Letter grading.
