Winter 2017 - Pretty easy class, but lots of material and anything is up for testing. He gives "study hints" which kind of gear you towards the tested topics... but not really. I didn't use the textbook at all, and while there are a lot of concepts in the "7 Principles" book, I didn't read that at all either. All the important information is on his slides. BUT sometimes his slides are kind of unclear so it still helps to go to class. There are three group debates that were pretty chill and a nice way to process the course information. There was also a big extra credit opportunity, at least when I took this class. Tests aren't super easy but I believe the class gets curved.
