Fall 2023 - First half wasn't too bad; be warned the homework questions were much harder than examples given in class/lectures. Prof would spend so much time on simple concepts and glaze over the tougher ones you need to know for exams. HW is only graded on completion but is good practice for the exams. Midterm was reasonable, final was extremely hard imo (though I didn't prepare for it as well as I could've). I probably guessed on half of the questions. I'd say do ALL of the practice exams with a timer and make sure you fully understand how to approach the question in order to do well on the exams. Prof is average- she seems like a nice person, but her lectures were very monotone and made me want to fall asleep. I've heard other econ 41 professors are worse though so she might be your best bet. I'm just glad the class is over.
