Description: Lecture, two hours; discussion, two hours. Introduction to different conceptualizations of globalization and their relationship to educational processes and learning in contemporary societies. Discussion of several concepts and theoretical lenses as basis for approaching and understanding how dialectics of global and local are affecting educational systems and learning over lifespans. Letter grading.
