Winter 2018 - By far, Jennie Grammer is the most eloquent, concise, clear professor I've ever had!! If you are planning to fulfill the education minor or interested in taking an education course, please take one of her classes! She is clear with instruction, her exams are fair, the workload is not heavy at all, and most of all there is no extensive paper that needs to be written as a final. There is however a policy brief that you must submit as your final, but it is very doable the TAs are extremely helpful in providing advice on the topic, etc. Instead of midterms, she has 4 quizzams (similar to mini-midterms) that test your understanding of the material, and they are straight-foward, not-trying-to-trick-you tests. Loved her class!
