Introduction to Research in Student Affairs
Description: Lecture, two hours; discussion, two hours. Designed to orient students to nature of educational research in context of student affairs. Overview of quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods to position students as scholar-practitioners. Exposure to these methods supplemented by examination of how they are used in published research relevant to practice of student affairs. Letter grading.
