Description: (Same as African American Studies M183C.) Fieldwork, six hours. Enforced corequisite: course M194C. Students visit after-school site on weekly basis and use ethnographic methods to document learning. Opportunity for students to connect theories of development and language and literacy learning with practice. Letter grading.
