Introduction to Ecology and Behavior Laboratory
Description: Laboratory, four hours. Requisites: course 100 (may be taken concurrently), Life Sciences 1 or 7B. Introduction to research methods in ecology and behavior, resulting in independent research proposals and to gain understanding of scientific method, critical evaluation of research papers, and development of scientific writing skills. Involves work outside and off-campus meetings. To apply this course to the Biology upper-division major laboratory requirement, the corresponding lecture course must be completed with a passing grade. Letter grading.

Winter 2023 - This lab is TA taught. It was a lot of work and participation was required during the long 4-hour lab period. There are many assignments and a final research paper. My group did not receive the equipment for our experiment from the faculty until week 9, a few days before the final presentation was due.
