Description: Lecture, two and one half hours; discussion, one hour. Requisite: Life Sciences 1 or 7B. Introduction to ecology of terrestrial plants, covering individuals, populations, communities, and global processes. Topics include plant form and function, seed dormancy and population dynamics, life histories, disturbance and succession, community structure and dynamics, and global change. P/NP or letter grading.
