Description: Lecture, three hours. Limited to graduate students. Conceptual foundations of conservation science and its applications to real-world conservation problems. Designed for students who intend to be academic researchers and want to learn about conservation in way that can make research immediately relevant, and those who intend to be conservation practitioners and want to be exposed to cutting-edge theory and thinking to tackle today's complex conservation challenges. May be repeated for credit. S/U grading.
