Spring 2025 - This was a challenging course loaded with philosophical thinking. All the readings were philosophical content written by famous thinkers, such as Kant. The professor himself did an alright job explaining them, yet to understand philosophy, one has to think in a way that's obscure to begin with. I did not like the class material very much – because I am not a fan of philosophy – however, my TA was very nice to all of us. This made sections quite enjoyable and helpful to complement the confusion I felt from lectures. The midterms were multiple-choice questions + short and long essays. They were hard at first glance, but if you truly understood the content and can write clearly, you will be on track to get an A. The lecture composed of 50-60 students and is very much like a discussion. The professor invites students to contribute ideas, but it's not mandtatory to raise your hand for participation points. So if talking in class is your cup of tea, this would be fun.
