Fall 2025 - Took this during my first quarter and he made me contemplate whether I still wanted to major in English. He has a weird deadline for the tv show worksheets (5pm) and then my papers for this class were also due at noon until the final...which was due at 9am? These deadlines made everything way more stressful than they needed to be. There was a lot of reading (about 6 books) and unfortunately I only liked 2 of those books. I will say, he was super nice during every lecture and he made class easy to be involved in. When it came to my papers he sent very elaborate feedback. I felt like no matter what I did, he would always give me a B. Felt like his expectations for an A was unrealistic. Would I take him again? Yes. But also...I have never had a B before so I've been bummed about the grade I got.
