Description: Seminar, two hours; outside study, four hours. Designed to engage engineering students, primarily those without prior experience, in process of soliciting, securing, and beginning research. Students learn about various methods and resources used to obtain laboratory position. Exploration of opportunities and guidance on how to approach those openings. Offers students smooth transition into research laboratory. P/NP grading.
