Description: Fieldwork, five hours; laboratory, two hours. Requisite: course 150. Application of remote-sensing techniques to field situations. Digital analysis and interpretation of near-infrared, thermal-infrared, and microwave data from satellites and aircraft. Field observation of study site in California desert for testing hypotheses during week between Winter and Spring Quarters. Concurrently scheduled with course C262. P/NP or letter grading.
