Description: Lecture, three hours; fieldwork, three hours. Requisites: courses 103B, 111, or equivalent. Advanced topics related to sediments, sedimentary rocks, and information that can be extracted from each. Interpretation of depositional environment from complex sedimentary structures and textures. Includes field and lecture component and builds on previous sedimentology basics. Concurrently scheduled with course C143. S/U or letter grading.
