Description: (Same as Ecology and Evolutionary Biology M145.) Lecture, three hours. Requisite: course 116 or Ecology and Evolutionary Biology 110 or 117. Consideration of major factors that have influenced history of life, including analytical approaches to analyzing patterns in fossil record, nature of rock record, and contribution of data from stable isotopes, functional morphology, phylogenetics, and developmental biology. P/NP or letter grading.

Eagle was a great professor. He was interested in what we were interested in learning and created this class just for the 5 of us who were interested in it. He took extra hours out of his week to meet with us and gave us multiple tours around the labs in the Geology building. He truly cares about the students learning and I would recommend him to anyone
