Winter 2025 - I enjoyed learning about how much music has affected our lives subconsciously, such as through advertising, which I used to never pay attention to. Now I always listen to advertisements and think about the effects the music had on the overall vibe. I loved the class, and although I wish the professor had given me practice tests because my studying was useless, I hope I have prepared enough for the final exam.

Fall 2025 - I only picked this class for my GE and I genuinely enjoyed it. It wasn't as difficult as my other classes so I took this as my break. The professor obviously enjoys what he lecturing about and you can tell by the way he carries himself. However, he does talk about AI a good amount and we did have to use AI for the only two assignments we had, which I don't agree with. Other than that, I found it fun and enjoyable. Though I do agree, we rarely do go over music; the lectures are more about music in the historical means which I personally had no problem with. The assigned readings are unrealistic and required to understand exams and lectures don't go over much material required in exams. But skimming the readings and paying attention to the discussions can make this up.
