Winter 2025 - I enjoyed learning about how much music has affected our lives subconsciously, such as through advertising, which I used to never pay attention to. Now I always listen to advertisements and think about the effects the music had on the overall vibe. I loved the class, and although I wish the professor had given me practice tests because my studying was useless, I hope I have prepared enough for the final exam.

Fall 2025 - There are multiple ups and downs about this class... Honest, the class isn't hard. I went to every single lecture prior to the first midterm but afterwards didn't go as often. But lets get some facts out of the way first. We DID NOT need any textbook. While there are some readings, he provides them in canvas. There are quite literally no "homework" assignments. Your entire grade will be broken up between 4 assignments. 2 essays, the midterm, and the final. The 2 essays are quite literally the easiest essays I've ever had to "write" as AI practically wrote all of it for the assignment. The assignment instructs you to write a prompt to then give to AI and to then analyze the essay the AI gives you, where for the 2nd essay all you have to do is make minor revisions. Then the Midterm and Final are both in class BUT they are both open note. Professor Wan quite literally told us that we can bring as many papers as we want.
