Absolutely, without a doubt the best class I have ever taken at UCLA. Not only do you learn about music from all over the world, but geography, government, social movements - everything ties together when you learn from Jack. Seriously, I took the class almost 2 years ago and I'm still raving about him!

Fall 2024 - This is seriously the easiest + best GE you can take. The class is so chill and the essays are pretty straightforward. I highly recommend anyone taking this class and the guest artists that Ruskin brings in are very entertaining. This is guaranteed an A as long as you put in some effort. I love Jesse
