Description: Lecture, three hours. Limited to juniors/seniors. Introduction to major and minor figures and movements for social change in the U.S., including themes from politics, sports, civil rebellions, and body. Examination of dramatic challenges to gender roles over course of the 20th century through actions of rebellious women who led way for myriad of changes in women's lives. Offered in summer only. P/NP or letter grading.
