professor smith was very entertaining. his lectures were straight forward and he has a great sense of humor (even when he found out that he forgot to zip up his pants). the only problem with the class was not him, but his ta's. they were horrible. i would definitely recommend him, but he needs to get a new set of ta's.

Trimble is really into geography, but his teaching ability leaves something to be desired. He just isn't really in tune with the students. He can talk on a lot of stuff and will expect you to know little things on tests while leaving out really key things. Study hard and know everything that you can.

Winter 2025 - DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. first of all, i didnt like the material. twas boring asf. secondly, but most importantly, joan was a HORRIBLE TA. i. think i couldve gotten an A if it wasnt for her, and its all because of the grading system. homework assignments are 40 PERCENT OF YOUR GRADE. and joan graded them so harshly and for WHAT. nothing... because girly did not know what she was talking about in class. she never had a plan and would ask us what we wanted to go over, then proceeded to say oh yea sorry i cant answer that question idk ask it in class. like no im not raising my hand in a lecture hall with 200 somethin students. save yourself and take a different GE
