Description: (Formerly numbered 215.) Seminar, three hours; reading period, two hours; fieldwork, three hours. Preparation: one course from 271, 280, 283, or one appropriate graduate course in atmospheric and oceanic sciences or Earth, planetary, and space sciences. Analysis of changing physical environment of Quaternary period. May be repeated for credit. S/U or letter grading.
