I took Copenhaver for philosophy 3 in an online summer session. The material was challenging, but his online lectures were great at helping to interpret the material. There was also a video conference once a week with our TA, Ari, who I think was a key part to making this course so interesting. I'm not saying its a walk in the park. There is deep thought involved with the writing, so be prepared. Initially, I had low expectations coming into the course, being a science major, but the professor and TA made me an admirer of philosophy.

Prof. Terrall how college works and is a responsible teacher, but her technique and teaching style just weren't for me. Her lectures are dry at best, sleep-inducing if you are even a little bit tired. Her TAs grade fairly and will make or break your experience in her class. I felt that I received a grade that I deserved. The subject matter is interesting enough to pull you through until the end, and you need to read all the material if you want to do well on the comprehensive final
