Evidence-Based Medicine and Organizational Change

Description: Lecture, three hours. Requisites: courses 200A, 200B, M422. Designed for graduate students in public health or other health sciences disciplines. Participation of students in critical review and discussion of selected papers dealing with course topics, including clinical trials, meta-analysis, small and large area variations in care, and development and implementation of clinical guidelines. Emphasis on implications for health policy. Letter grading.
