Spring 2020 - Whatever you do not take this class with Harris. He is the biggest a hole! He is a smart ass and literally believes he is smarter than everyone and will make you feel like you are nothing compared to him. Evade at all costs. You will suffer and wish you never took him.

IAS 191 class was the most amazing class I have taken in my entire educational career. Amazing, organized and well structured lectures. Reading are fabulous. Everything is just amazing. I which UCLA had professors like Patrick in every class. Im gonna miss him and the amazing team i worked with for my final project. Weekly response paper, take home midterm based in the response papers, and the awesome field work (good food and a lot of fun) for the final you should write 20 pages thesis. Don't worry, its actually fun since you split the work between your group, and final presentation based on your finding. Overall, A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I will miss him soooo much.

Hello fellow Bruins, I wanted to say that I really enjoyed this class in my final quarter at UCLA. It covers a broad range of information and you can choose what areas of study you want to be able to focus upon without being penalized. The Professor is really nice and flexible as I was seeking to design a final paper that was a bit different from the normal prompt. The Professor was also extremely understanding of personal matters which left me with the feeling that she cared about her students. It's a smaller class so she urges people to participate which I feel is great because you get to hear different perspectives. There is no group project or activities which might be uncomfortable for some people. She grades correctly and is a good UCLA professor. I really enjoyed this class as it was one of my final classes at UCLA! GO BRUINS!
