Winter 2025 - Michael is lovely and easygoing! He's really looking to engage with and help out students, and is very responsive to feedback about the course. Two 1-page extra credit opportunities were available for up to 5%, but even without them, an A or A+ was totally doable. Would definitely recommend this class!

Fall 2017 - Took this class in the fall of my Sophomore year. This class really is a great introduction to LBGTQ studies. Even if you are curious to learn more and ask questions it is a safe space to engage in lectures. It's basically a class on the history of the LGBTQ community. The readings are all online and given. There are no tests just different parts of essays. You also receive extra credit for attending events and writing a page on the event.
