Fall 2020 - This review is for math 120A. I'm a senior in pure math, and I've been writing proofs during most of my undergrad years. I lost points in an exam just because I used "=>" in my proof instead of the English word "so," even though she uses "=>" in her lectures as well. This is the most ridiculous thing ever happened on me, lmao. (Btw, I also lost points in ALL exams because of "incomplete sentences" and "lacking explanations" without any comment from Dr. May. I suggest math department open a Writing I for Dr. May to fulfill her dream of being an ENGLISH professor. :))

Summer 2019 - I had a class with this person and otherwise. He will take advantage of people. He is also flakey and has a hard time following through with things. Likely someone who was raised to believe they were blameless. If you are working with him, make sure there is a clear plan and expectations laid out, so you are not taken advantage of. In fact, you're probably better off to stay away from this person altogether. I wish I could say more.

Fall 2022 - Professor Min is super clear and concise in lectures and would often give hints for specific homework problems during lecture as a "reward" for attending lecture. The tests were extremely reasonable and we had one page of notes to reference. I would definitely recommend him for this class!

Spring 2020 - Adam is an amazing Professor. He made 115A so digestible and intuitive. I honestly did not like linear algebra that much coming into this class and struggled a bit in 33a but Adams teaching really made me appreciate the topic a lot more. He was always super fair and accommodating and would entertain any questions. Would take every other math class with him if I could
