Fall 2025 - Prof. Giulio is an excellent lecturer. He explains everything clearly and in detail, and posts all the materials on BruinLearn for studying. The midterms and final are very fair, if you study and understand the notes, you will get a good grade. The professor really tries to help students learn about investments and credit. For students who are interested in this field, this class is a good start. The last few classes were review sessions, which were very helpful for preparing for the final. There is weekly homework, and the questions are usually from the textbook. Sometimes the homework questions can be tricky, but the exams are more straightforward, so no need to worry. His office hours were also very useful, so definitely go if you have any questions.

Spring 2022 - He is a very nice professor. His office hours are helpful and he responds email very fast. Very sad that he will leave UCLA soon. This course is not hard at all, but it does require a decent amount of effort. If you study approperiately, I do believe you will likely get the result you want as it is an applied math course and there are no proofs involved at all.
