Introduction to class-field theory, analytic number theory, L-functions and class number formulas, and modular forms. S/U or letter grading.

I took pic10B. W/ this professor. Indeed, I guess she's the only professor who NEVER responses to students email. She is so irresponsible. Please avoid taking her class! If you can't you will need to study very hard on your own. Going to her lectures is a joke - useless and time wasting. But you still need to go to her class.Why? Because she never posted the study materials to the class website on time. The only way you can keep in touch with the class is going to the lecture to see if she makes any adjustments to the exam or assignment. Also, never trust her. She always promised to upload the exam study outline, but end up posting the outline few hours before the exam. Many students did not know she actually posted the outline until they finished the exam. What a nice professor!huh?

MATH 3C Take this class with him!! definitely great professor because he really cares about the success of his students. He is also very eager to teach the material and he always makes sure you are on the same page as he is on the lectures. His exams are fair and correlate with the problems he writes. His office hours are a must! His office hours are times to go over his problems that you don't understand and to clear up things you do not understand. He is extremely helpful during office hours. He is way better than oberlin, barbaro, goldbring. And he is pretty good eye candy for an early class!
