Description: Tutorial, to be arranged. Supervised individual reading and study on project approved by a faculty member, which may be preparation for MA examination. May be repeated for credit, but only two 596 courses (8 units) may be applied toward MA degree unless departmental consent is obtained. S/U or letter grading.
