Description: Lecture, 90 minutes. Course 487A is enforced requisite to 487B. Limited to Global Executive M.B.A. Program students. Introduction to basic tools and jargon required for entrepreneurship that requires financing or management of intellectual property. Terminology used by lawyers, accountants, venture capitalists, and other investors when forming and financing new companies. Assessment of feasibility of business concept and communication of concept to potential investors, employees, and business partners. In Progress grading (credit to be given only on completion of course 487B).
