Teaching Assistant Training Seminar

Description: Seminar, three hours. Preparation: appointment as teaching assistant, associate, or fellow in Anderson-based course. Required of all new teaching apprentices. Designed to prepare students for graduate-level teaching and provide professional development. Discussion of practical and theoretical issues about teaching in graduate business school. Emphasis on adult learning theory and pedagogy, theory versus practice in business, and electronic data interchange (EDI) initiatives within classroom. Students learn about classroom and learning management system (LMS) technologies and how to best utilize them to provide seamless learning experience. S/U grading.
