She's totally unorganized. I think she just walks into class and decides what to do on the spot. Teaching is definitely not her strength and following her "lectures" can be difficult sometimes. She also doesn't support her claims well, even though I'm sure scholarship does show support for them. She's just not a good teacher, that's all. At times she's also rather biased, and surprisingly won't accept or expand on arguments made in readings. HOWEVER, if you just write down those points she actually does "lecture" on/emphasize, you can get an A in the class. You don't need to do all the readings; you won't have time anyway. It's an interesting experience being in her class. I hope that the challenge she offers to people helps people grow.

Prof. Cowe is a really decent lecturer. He delves into every theme of the readings and really gets the students to participate and understand everything. However, he is dry and often you'll find yourself falling asleep. But it is an easy class, all you have to do is do the readings. honestly.
