Professor Keshishian’s Armenian language class was one of the highlights of my UCLA career. Though the course-material seemed challenging at times, it has surely helped me grow as an individual as well as an intellectual. I was pleasantly surprised that she didn’t limit herself to only teaching us the mechanics of the language; rather, she exposed us to Armenian history, culture, and tradition as well. The most remarkable aspect of this course is Professor Keshishian, herself. She is one of the most unique, intelligent, and inspirational professors I have met. Her character, her lectures, as well as her personality have motivated me to expand my thoughts (whether it be in the course of Armenian studies, education, or life).
