Description: Lecture, 90 minutes. Preparation: one course each in molecular biology, cell biology, and biological chemistry. Designed for graduate experimental pathology students. Current research in disease mechanisms, with strong emphasis on experimental approach in pathology. Topics include genetic and metabolic disorders, thyroid disease, immunology, atherosclerosis, infectious diseases, and Alzheimer's disease. S/U or letter grading.
