Molecular mechanisms of microbial interactions with eukaryotic host cells that result in disease or pathogen survival. Topics include pathogenesis of common viruses, bacteria, fungi, and parasites, basis of toxin-mediated cellular damage, and immune suppression of microbial tissue damage. Letter grading.
