Present and future roles of biomedical physics in diagnosis and treatment of human disease, with focus on interdisciplinary nature of this field. Exploration of two diseases in depth with detailed description of roles of physics-based diagnostic imaging and therapeutic options for each disease. Description of current and future technologies, as well as techniques that exploit interaction between diagnosis and therapy. Letter grading.
